Casa Almar
A whole day, in one scroll.
A twelve-room hotel where the website does what the place does: slows you down, and lets the light change.

The brief
Hotel websites tend to be a grid of rooms and a booking bar. But nobody falls in love with a room count. They fall in love with how a day there would feel, so that’s what I set out to show.
The idea
The heart of the site is one view of one pool. As you scroll, a clock runs from 06:12 to 22:05, the sun crosses a thin arc above it, and the light moves from dawn to noon to candlelight.
Everything around it borrows from the architecture: the rooms are arches that open as you reach for them, and the cove arrives through one too.
What makes it work
- 01
A day in one scroll
The same view at dawn, noon and night, with a live clock and the sun crossing overhead.
- 02
Rooms as arches
Three arched windows. The one you lean towards opens wider.
- 03
A window onto the cove
An arch that opens to fill the screen with moving water.
- 04
A booking engine
Pick your nights and the stay prices itself, with unavailable dates handled properly.
