The brief
Water is the hardest product there is to sell. It has no flavour to describe and no feature to list. I set myself one rule: the site could only talk about where the water comes from.
The idea
So the page is the mountain. You arrive at 2,412 metres, and scrolling is the descent. The altitude counts down, ice gives way to granite, and the journey ends at the spring with the bottle in your hand.
Everything else steps back. One thin typeface, a palette taken straight from the glacier, and more empty space than any shop template would ever allow.
What makes it work
- 01
A scroll that descends
A pinned altitude counter runs from 2,412 metres to zero while the story moves through four chapters.
- 02
The bottle as a drawing
The product is laid out like a technical plate, its annotations drawing themselves in as you arrive.
- 03
A window that opens
An aerial film of the glacier starts as a small frame and opens to fill the screen as you scroll into it.
- 04
Subscriptions, built in
A delivery picker designed as part of the page, not bolted on from a plugin.
